The present invention relates to an amorphous risedronate covered with a surfactant and a preparation method thereof. The amorphous risedronate covered with a surfactant according to an embodiment in the present invention comprises: 100 parts by weight of risedronate; and 10-200 parts by weight of a surfactant with respect to the weight of the risedronate, wherein the surfactant has two or more alkyl chains adhering to a hydrophilic part thereof. The surfactant adheres to the risedronate while surrounding the outside of the risedronate in an amorphous form, so that the risedronate is dissolved in an emulsion type in water. The risedronate to which the surfactant adheres has an average diameter of 0.5-30 micrometers, and the average size range of the risedronate is within±200% with respect to the diameter of the risedronate.
