FIELD: metallurgy.SUBSTANCE: device includes side aligning guides (7) providing alignment of flat metal workpieces (1) on a plane of longitudinal roller table (20), pushing elements (4) for movement of flat metal workpieces towards frame (22) of the rolling mill. Prevention of damage to working rolls, shortening the time for rolled metal production by fine supply to the frame of slabs, especially short ones, is provided due to the fact that the device has primary drive mechanisms (6) for pushing elements (4), each of which is brought into action by the corresponding primary drive mechanism (6); with that, primary drive mechanism (6) and the corresponding pushing element (4) are installed so that they can be turned on the corresponding side aligning guide (7), and secondary drive mechanisms (5) in the form of an integral part of side aligning guides (7), which provide rotation of the above primary drive mechanisms (6) and corresponding pushing elements (4) from the rest position to the working position.EFFECT: improving accuracy of flattening and alignment of slabs supplied to a rolling mill frame.12 cl, 3 dwg |
