PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a multi-layered slide member that can be manufactured efficiently at low cost and a manufacturing technique therefor.SOLUTION: A surface 21 of a metal plate 2 as a backing material is coated with a binder 5. A prepreg 3 formed by impregnating woven fabric with a phenol resin and drying the woven fabric is further laminated on the binder 5 to obtain a laminate, and the laminate is heated to be hardened while applied with pressure so as to form a slide layer on the surface 21 of the metal plate 2. A metal powder sintered layer 4 may be formed on the surface 21 of the metal plate 2. As the binder 5, a thermosetting resin (a low-viscosity phenol resin, an epoxy resin, etc.) is used here which has high affinity with the phenol resin used for the prepreg 3 and low viscosity. As the woven fabric, PET fiber as strength-reinforcing resin fiber is used, and PTFE fiber is woven as lubricant resin fiber. |
