摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor with less component count in which the loss can be reduced, and to provide a composite material suitable for the material of a magnetic core of the reactor, a converter including the reactor, and a power converter.SOLUTION: A reactor 1 includes a coil 2 and a magnetic core 3. At least a portion of the magnetic core 3 is composed of a composite material containing a magnetic material powder, and a polymer material including the powder in dispersed state. Content of the magnetic material powder for the whole composite material is 50-75 vol%, saturation magnetic flux density of the composite material is 0.6T or more, and the relative permeability of the composite material is over 20 to 35 or less. Since the relative permeability of the composite material exceeds 20, magnetic flux is hard to leak, and the loss can be reduced. Since the relative permeability of the composite material is 35 or less, magnetic flux hardly saturates, and the gap material or air gap can be reduced. Since the gap material, and the like, are reduced, the component count of the reactor 1 is reduced.
