PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress damages to an optical fiber caused by a cooling mechanism of an optical connector.SOLUTION: An optical connector includes a cylindrical housing 10 into which an optical fiber is inserted and a cylindrical cover 20 which is located outside the housing 10 and accommodates coolant between itself and the housing 10. The cover 20 is provided with a coolant inlet port 22 and a coolant outlet port 23. Partitioning parts 15, which are located between the coolant inlet port 22 and the coolant outlet port 23 to form a coolant flow channel, are provided between the housing 10 and the cover 20. |
