PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indicator capable of making the entire needle light in weight and sufficiently securing strength of a needle body, and a method of manufacturing the indicator.SOLUTION: A material sheet 5 is formed by laminating individual first-third fiber sheets 6-8 in which carbon fibers are arrayed in one direction in the state where array directions of individual carbon fibers 6a-8a are made different, and a needle body 2 is formed of the material sheet 5. Thus, when forming the material sheet 5 by laminating the individual first-third fiber sheets 6-8, the array directions of the carbon fibers 6a-8a can be made different so that the strength of the needle body 2 can be increased. Also, since the individual first-third fiber sheets 6-8 are formed by arraying the carbon fibers 6a-8a in one direction, thicknesses of the individual fiber sheets 6-8 can be reduced respectively, and even when the individual fiber sheets 6-8 are laminated in three layers, the entire needle 2 can be reduced in thickness and weight. |
