PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an excited rotary electric machine that prevents an increase in voltage associated with fluctuations in interlinkage magnetic flux in excitation coils.SOLUTION: An excited rotary electric machine includes: a rotor having a pair of rotor cores that are arranged in an axial direction, with a gap therebetween, so as to face each other and that each have magnetic poles spaced circumferentially at predetermined intervals, with the respective magnetic poles of the rotor cores arranged diagonally in the axial direction with a gap therebetween; a stator that is arranged through an air gap on a radially outer side of the rotor so as to face the rotor and that generates a rotating magnetic field for rotating the rotor; and excitation coils that excite the magnetic poles. A control device for the excited rotary electric machine has: exciting voltage detection means that detects voltages generated in the excitation coils; and exciting current control means that, when voltage detected by the exciting voltage detection means exceeds a predetermined value, increases current to be passed through the excitation coils compared to a case in which the detected voltage does not exceed the predetermined value. |
