PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal identification card issuing system capable of increasing the operation rate of a device, and reducing the workload of an operator.SOLUTION: A personal identification card issuing system includes: storage means for storing the description information of a card to which identification information is applied; means for acquiring a face image to be printed on the card; means for inputting the identification information of the card on which the acquired face image is printed; means for acquiring the corresponding description information from the storage means on the basis of the input identification information; means for printing the acquired description information and the acquired face image on the card; a plurality of stackers to which the printed card is output; means for distributing the printed card to one of the plurality of stackers on the basis of preliminarily set distribution conditions; means for, when printing starts, detecting the full state of the plurality of stackers; and means for, when the full state is detected, searching the empty stacker from among the plurality of stackers, and for switching the output destination from the stacker whose full state has been detected to the searched empty stacker. |
