PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diesel engine with an electronic governor, capable of stabilizing the revolution of an engine right after starting the engine.SOLUTION: The diesel engine with the electronic governor is constructed so that a fuel metering rack 4 is slid while following the reciprocating operation of an output part 11 of an electric actuator 2, the stroke of the slide of the fuel metering rack 4 is measured by a stroke measuring part 3a of a control device 3, and a control gain to the electric actuator 2 right after starting the engine is adjusted by a control gain adjusting part 3b of the control device 3 on the basis of the length of the stroke measured by the stroke measuring part 3a. When the stroke of the slide of the fuel metering rack 4 is shorter than a predetermined stroke because of the following delay of the fuel metering rack 4, the control gain of the control device 3 to the electric actuator 2 right after starting the engine is adjusted to be smaller than when the stroke increases up to the predetermined stroke. |
