PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diesel engine with an electronic governor, capable of stabilizing the revolution of an engine right after starting the engine.SOLUTION: The diesel engine with the electronic governor is constructed so that a fuel metering rack 4 is slid from a predetermined slide starting position to a slide finishing position while following the operation of an output part 11 of an electric actuator 2, and a control gain to the electric actuator 2 right after starting the engine is adjusted by a control gain adjusting part 3b of a control device 3 on the basis of the length of a time required for the slide of the fuel metering rack 4. When the time required for the slide of the fuel metering rack 4 is longer than a predetermined time because of the following delay of the fuel metering rack 4, the control gain to the electric actuator 2 right after starting the engine is adjusted to be smaller than when the predetermined time is only required. |
