PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting line coupling tool capable of easily coupling supporting lines of an optical cable to each other.SOLUTION: In the supporting line coupling tool 1, a pair of supporting line fixing components 11 and 12 are coupled to each other via a coupling component 20 in a state in which they face each other. Each of the supporting line fixing components 11 and 12 includes: a main body member 13 having a through hole 13h of a circular truncated cone shape whose diameter extends from one end 11a into which a supporting line S is inserted toward the other end 11b of the opposite side; a pair of holding members 14 and 15 that are accommodated in the through hole 13h slidably on the inner surface of the through hole 13h and are disposed so as to face each other, and an elastic member 16 for energizing the pair of holding members 14 and 15 to the one end 11a (one end 13a) side.
