A signal detection device according to one aspect of the present invention is provided with a first circuit layer (201) upon which are formed a plurality of electrodes in contact with a subject, a second circuit layer (202) upon which are formed a plurality of amplifiers having input units that are capacitively coupled with each of the plurality of electrodes, and a third circuit layer (203) upon which are formed a plurality of transistors for reading output of the plurality of amplifiers; wherein the first, second, and third circuit layers are stacked. Between the plurality of electrodes formed on the first circuit layer, and the second circuit layer, an insulating layer that seals the second circuit layer is formed, and across the insulating layer, the plurality of electrodes and the input units of the plurality of amplifiers are capacitively coupled. |
