The present invention relates to a handling device (100) for handling a metal component (130) between a furnace system (140) and a further processing device. The handling device (100) comprises a temperature-control chamber (110), in which the metal component (130) can be inserted, and a conveying device (120). The temperature-control chamber (110) comprises a temperature-control unit that adjusts a temperature in the temperature-control chamber (110). The temperature-control chamber (110) can be conveyed between a receiving position, in which the metal component (130) can be conveyed from the furnace system (140) into the temperature-control chamber (110), and a dispensing position, in which the metal component (130) can be conveyed from the temperature control chamber (110) to the further processing device. The conveying device (120) is configured in such a manner that the metal component (130) can be conveyed in the receiving position by means of the conveying device (120) between the furnace system (140) and the temperature-control chamber (110) and that the metal component (130) can be conveyed in the dispensing position by means of the conveying device (120) between the temperature-control chamber (HO) and the further processing device.
