A device for shaping the stump of the great saphenous vein consists of the handle and the working surface consisting of two parts – upper horizontal and lower vertical continuing as the horizontal at the angle of 60°, with the length of 5 and , the radius of flexure of 12 and , correspondingly allowing for placing the device at the site of vein junction and estimating the size of the stump of the great saphenous vein along the lower edge of the vertical part of the working surface.
