The printing machine (3) has the first and second rollers (1,2) in between which friction is performed, so that the axial reciprocating movement (6) of first roller is driven by the axial reciprocating movement (5) of second roller. A switching device is arranged for temporary stopping of axial reciprocating movement of first roller in stop position (9). Two functional elements (12,14) of the switching device are arranged on mutually different sides of axial center of first roller, such that the functional elements are moved in two mutually opposite working directions.
