The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a planet carrier for vehicles. As to the method for manufacturing a planet carrier forging used for a vehicle transmission, the invention comprises: a step of preparing a predetermined weight of round bars as a raw material; a step of up-setting the raw material into a round plate shape with a predetermined thickness after heating the raw material to a predetermined temperature; a finisher step which hot-sizes the heated material into a predetermined shape using a pre-heated mold; a piercing step which forms a predetermined hole on a central shaft of the product after the finisher step; and a step of sizing the products after the piercing step through hot forging in order to satisfy a predetermined size. The invention is to reduce the weight of the raw materials to input without a trimming process, thereby being capable of reducing manpower and manufacturing equipment with required quality for complete products.
