A combustion stabilization device (100) equipped with: a primary chamber fuel supply device (21) that supplies gas fuel to a primary chamber (33); an auxiliary chamber fuel supply device (22) that supplies gas fuel to an auxiliary chamber (34); a property sensor (55) that detects the property of the gas fuel; a theoretical air amount calculation unit (61) that calculates a theoretical air amount corresponding to the detected gas fuel property; a target auxiliary chamber excess air ratio setting unit (62) that sets a target value for the excess air ratio in the auxiliary chamber (34); an auxiliary chamber fuel amount calculation unit (65) that calculates the amount of air and the amount of gas fuel supplied to the auxiliary chamber (34); an auxiliary chamber excess air ratio measurement unit (63) that calculates the excess air ratio in the auxiliary chamber (34) on the basis of the calculated amount of air, the calculated amount of gas fuel, and the theoretical air amount; and an auxiliary chamber fuel supply control unit (67) that sets a target auxiliary chamber fuel supply amount, that is, the target value for the amount of gas fuel supplied to the auxiliary chamber (34) such that the calculated value for the auxiliary chamber excess air ratio matches the target value, and that controls the auxiliary chamber fuel supply device (22) such that the target auxiliary chamber fuel supply amount of the gas fuel is supplied.
