Provided is a heat-pump-type hot water supply device for which the construction can be simplified without causing an insufficient supply of hot water. A hot water storage temperature sensor (16) is provided in only one location in the vertical direction of a hot water storage tank (10), so the number of wires for the hot water storage temperature sensor (16) can be reduced. Thus, there is no need to provide a tank unit (60) with another control unit for the purpose of connecting the hot water storage temperature sensor (16), which enables the construction to be simplified and the cost to be reduced. In this case, when the detected temperature for the hot water storage temperature sensor (16) reaches or falls below a prescribed hot water storage temperature a boiling operation is performed, and even when the detected temperature for the hot water storage temperature sensor (16) is higher than the prescribed hot water storage temperature the boiling operation is performed at prescribed intervals, so a sufficient amount of hot water can always be ensured without causing an insufficient supply of hot water, even when the hot water storage temperature sensor (16) is not provided in multiple locations in the vertical direction of a hot water storage tank (10) and the amount of hot water remaining is not detected. |
