PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a simple structure for preventing a failure in charging due to erroneous insertion or imperfect contact when a portable wireless device having one of several kinds of battery packs differing in depth dimension attached thereto is charged after mounting it in a charger.SOLUTION: Provided is a portable wireless device 1b having attached on its rear side a battery pack 12 which is charged after being mounted in a charger 2 having an accommodation section 20 provided with a guide rib 209 on its left and right side inner walls. The portable wireless device 1b is provided with an erroneous mounting prevention rib 127 at a bottom edge on the left and right side faces thereof. The erroneous mounting prevention rib 127 is formed in such a way that a front side end portion 127a of the erroneous mounting prevention rib 127 can be fitted in along a rear side end face 209b of the guide rib, and that a dimension A between a front face 101 of the casing of the portable wireless device 1b and a rear side end portion 127b of the erroneous mounting prevention rib 127 is larger than a dimension B between a front side inner wall 201 of the accommodation section 20 of the charger 2 and the front side end face 209a of the guide rib 209. |
