RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR WINTER TIRE, AND WINTER TIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a winter tire, from which a winter tire excellent in both of on-ice performance and wear resistance can be manufactured, and to provide a winter tire using the composition.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for a winter tire comprises 100 parts by mass of a diene rubber (A), 30 to 100 parts by mass of carbon black and/or white filler (B), 0.3 to 30 parts by mass of a crosslinkable oligomer or polymer (C), and 0.1 to 12 parts by mass of fine particles (D) having an average particle diameter of 1 to 200 μm. The fine particles (D) are fine particles formed by using a thermoplastic elastomer (d1). The content of the fine particles (D) is 1 to 50 mass% with respect to the total mass of the crosslinkable oligomer or polymer (C) and the fine particles (D).
