PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible that even when either of the competitors gives a blow to the other competitor by mistake infringing a rule of Sundome (stopping a blow just before it touches the opponent), etc., the competitor is protected from the blow without the need for attaching another sensor or electric circuit to an attack part such as a wrist of the competitor or the arms held by a hand of the competitor and without interfering with normal offense/defense movement and that when a blow sensor is not needed, only a trunk protector main body, with the blow sensor easily detached, can be used for a match.SOLUTION: A trunk part protector is worn by a competitor in a match around the trunk of the competitor and comprises: a trunk protector main body 46a for covering at least a front part of the trunk; a protector cover 46b detachably attached to a front of the trunk protector main body 46a and made of a flexible sheet; and a blow sensor 52 attached to the protector cover 46b for sensing a blow to the trunk. |
