A vehicle hood panel (1) includes an outer panel (2) and an inner panel (3) joined to each other. The inner panel (3) includes a mastic seating face (31) and is mastic-joined to the outer panel (2) in the mastic seating face (31). The inner panel (3) includes a plurality of beads (32) disposed surrounded by the mastic seating face (31). The beads (32) extend in the left-right direction of the vehicle, with a bottom portion (32a) of the beads connected to the mastic seating face (31) by vertical walls (32b, 32c, 32e). At least one of a front vertical wall (32b) and a rear vertical wall (32c) has an upper edge thereof curved when viewed in plan, with a center portion thereof in the left-right direction of the vehicle having a radius of curvature (R0) smaller than a radius of curvature (RS) of an end portion thereof in the left-right direction of the vehicle. The vehicle hood panel provides high pedestrians protection performance irrespective of the position of the head of a colliding pedestrian, while maintaining bending deformation performance in the event of frontal collision of the vehicle. |
