To provide a registration program, a registration apparatus, and a registration method which are capable of performing appropriate template registration by rejecting inappropriate template registration. A registration apparatus (10) acquires image information of a living body photographed by a sensor unit and distance information acquired when photographing the living body from the sensor unit, and extracts image information which is to serve as a template. The registration apparatus (10) acquires a plurality of items of the image information by an image information acquisition means (10a), and acquires distance information associated with each item of the image information item by a distance information acquisition means (10b). A template candidate extraction means (10c) groups the plurality of image information items according to the distance information associated with each image information item. A template extraction means (10d) mutually evaluates the image information items extracted by the template candidate extraction means (10c) to extract image information to be registered as a template for each group. |
