PRESSURE RELIEF DEVICE FOR STEAM CONDENSER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure relief device for a steam condenser that easily detects damage to a pressure relief plate.SOLUTION: A pressure relief device 10 includes: hollow bellows 1 serving as a sealing case; and a pointer vacuum gauge 2. The bellows 1 covers a pressure relief plate 82 and seals a tip end of a pressure relief pipe 81. The pointer vacuum gauge 2 is connected to the bellows 1 and can measure a pressure in the bellows 1. If the pressure relief plate 82 is damaged, the pressure in the bellows 1 is as high as a pressure in a barrel part 7. It is easy to detect the pressure relief plate 82 being damaged by confirming change in measured value of the pointer vacuum gauge 2 which measures the pressure in the bellows 1. Further, it is easy to detect the pressure relief plate 82 in a high place being damaged without climbing up a steam condenser 70 by confirming change in measured value of the pointer vacuum gauge 2 from a distance.
