PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the rotor of an embedded permanent magnet motor in which torque can be enhanced by reducing the short circuit magnetic flux of a permanent magnet, without increasing the manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: In the rotor 2 of an embedded permanent magnet motor 100, a plurality of permanent magnets 50 are arranged in one magnet housing section 42 of a rotor core 40. A rib 43 connecting the outer periphery 40a of the rotor core and the inner periphery 40b of the rotor core is arranged for each set of a plurality of magnetic poles. |
