PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical sagittal saw including an indexing head capable of easily rotating and indexing, and a connection assembly tightly holding a fitted blade in a suitable place.SOLUTION: A surgical sagittal saw includes: a blade mount 56 having a slot 60 for receiving a sagittal saw blade, defined by side walls, at least one of which has a first surface and a second surface, the blade mount 56 being movably mounted on a housing; a clamp assembly including a head mounted on the blade mount, and having an operation position disposed adjacent to one of inner faces of an upper face and a lower face of the blade mount, and a control member connected to the head, moving the head between the operation position and a loading position, and manually operated; and a driving mechanism extending from a motor to the blade mount, for vibrating the blade mount in a sagittal pattern. |
