PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric parking brake driving device and an electric parking brake device, capable of reducing a shock sound at a release operation of a parking brake.SOLUTION: A parking brake actuator generates brake force at a wheel by means of converting rotary motion of a screw member 6 rotated by an electric parking brake driving device D, to a linear motion, transmitting the result to a piston, and pressing a brake pad against a disk rotor by means of the piston. The electric parking brake driving device D includes an electric motor 3, and a speed reduction mechanism 4 for transmitting driving force of the electric motor 3 to the parking brake actuator. The speed reduction mechanism 4 includes a gear body 41, and a planetary gear mechanism YG which is provided within the gear body 41 and to which the driving force of the electric motor 3 is input. A cushion rubber 55 compressible in circumferential direction, is interposed between a ring gear 52 of the planetary gear YG and the gear body 41. |
