PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine for vehicle in which a coil assembly is manufactured so that a turn part is deviated with respect to a slot housing part only by a deviation amount set in a direction orthogonal to both of an arrangement direction of the slot housing part and a long direction of the slot housing part, the coil assembly using an element wire with a large cross-sectional area can be mounted to a stator core, and intervention with a housing and a rotor can be avoided by suppressing swelling of a coil end group in a radial direction, and provide a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A coil assembly is manufactured so that a turn part is deviated with respect to a slot housing part only by a deviation amount set in a direction orthogonal to both of an arrangement direction of the slot housing part and a long direction of the slot housing part. At least the two coil assemblies are overlapped in a radial direction so that the mutual slot housing parts and the mutual turn parts are brought into contact with each other by reversing the deviation direction of the turn part with respect to the slot housing part. |
