PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device that can independently steer an individual wheel by driving force of a motor.SOLUTION: A steering device 4 includes a carrier 10, a housing 11, a steering shaft 12 and a motor unit 13 for steering. The carrier 10 is installed in an inner peripheral portion 3A of a wheel 3, and rotatably supports the wheel 3. The housing 11 includes a fixation portion 24 fixed to a vehicle body 2, and supports the carrier 10. One end side 12A of the steering shaft 12 is fixed to the carrier 10, and the other end side 12B of the steering shaft 12 is rotatably mounted to the housing 11. By rotating relative to the housing 11, the steering shaft 12 displaces the orientation of the carrier 10 to the housing 11. The motor unit 13 for steering is held by the housing 11, and rotates the steering shaft 12. |
