NEW APPLICATION OF A METHOD FOR DETERMINING VITAL ACTIVITY OF INSECTS

摘要

The use of a method for determining vital activity of insects (the patent of Ukraine on the utility model No. 39129) as a method for selecting initial biomaterial while introducing insect cultures includes sampling eggs from initial populations. The applicability of the populations for further cultivation is determined according to the intensity of trophotaxis of caterpillars after hatching. The populations with the maximum value of the intensity of trophotaxis are taken for introducing the insect cultures.
