<p>The present invention relates to a granule solid fuel burner and a boiler using same. A combustion chamber (21), an upper portion of which is open to be connected to a fuel storage container (10), has a quadrangular box shape and is formed of a heat-resistant material to endure the heat which is generated during the combustion of a granule solid fuel. An exhaust hole (22) is formed on a front surface of the combustion chamber (21) to be connected to a heat exchange chamber (40), and an air intake hole (23) is formed on a back surface of the combustion chamber (21) to supply air. A grate (30) is disposed in an air passage between the exhaust hole (22) and the air intake hole (23) so that the granule solid fuel (11) supplied from the fuel storage container (10) is combusted while being supported. As such, the configuration is simplified and the assembly process is facilitated. In addition, the triangular pillar-shaped grate is configured to facilitate the movement of the granule solid fuel from a primary combustion space to a secondary combustion space during the combustion, and the granule solid fuel is allowed to be supplied by its own weight on the grate, which results in a structural prevention of a fuel clogging phenomenon. The air passage, which has an inclination of 15 to 25 degrees, is formed due to the grate in the primary combustion space so that airflow is generated by the positive pressure of a blower from the air intake hole side toward the exhaust hole side, the ash which is generated in the primary and secondary combustion spaces reaches the exhaust hole forming a tertiary combustion space of high temperature, and the ash is turned into exhaust gas and discharged through perfect combustion. Accordingly, the problem of decreased combustion efficiency attributed to the ash accumulated in the combustion chamber can be addressed without a mechanical device.</p> |
