The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a composite panel and a composite panel. According to one aspect of the present invention, a method of manufacturing a composite panel is disclosed, which is capable of preventing a step from occurring due to a thickness difference between a core board and a rim member. The method includes the following steps of: (a) cutting a material for a core board at a desired size to prepare the core board having a rectangular shape; (b) measuring thicknesses of each rim of all sides of the core board, wherein the thicknesses of a plurality of predetermined positions are measured with respect to entire lengths of each rim; (c) cutting a material for a rim member having a rectangular board shape at a predetermined length based on a plane to prepare each rim member for all sides of the core board, wherein the material for the rim member is cut such that the cut widths of each rim member are equal to those of sides measured at the predetermined positions of each rim corresponding to the core board, and the rim members have plane widths equal to side thicknesses through the entire length of each rim of the core board; (c) bonding the rim members onto each side surface of the core board by allowing the plane portions of the rim members to correspond to each side surface of the core board; and (d) attaching finishing materials to both side plane surfaces of the core board to which the rim members are bonded. |
