Flight control system using simplex computers and aircraft comprising it

The computer has an item of software for computing flight commands according to a flight law on the basis of a command received from a piloting element. A computing unit computes two flight orders, intended for a remote controller of an airfoil actuator (3.10), in command and monitor modes within two virtual command/monitor pairs, respectively. The virtual command/monitor pairs include associated computers acting in command and monitor modes on behalf of the virtual command/monitor pairs, respectively. An independent claim is also included for a controller for an airfoil actuator within a flight control system.
