<p>The controller (1) has a passive infrared sensor (3) determining presence of people by using an image capture sensor and/or a passive infrared sensor and/or a lightness sensor and/or a temperature sensor (4). The controller adjusts maximum fan power when no presence of people in a region of a room fan (2) is determined. The controller adjusts air outlet velocity (v) of the room fan to the maximum 0.5 m/s, if presence of people in the region of the room fan is determined. The temperature sensor is arranged in a flow region and/or a supply air region and/or an exhaust air region of the fan. An independent claim is also included for a method for ventilating a chamber by a room fan.</p> |
