An activity panel system to provide interest to children comprises a supplementary panel 20 and a frame 21 mountable to a play panel for a childrens playground. The play panel may comprise a main panel (10, figure 1) supported between two posts (11, figure 1). The frame 21 may be mounted to the play panel by means of a groove, a recess, an adhesive or a snap-fit arrangement. The supplementary panel 20 may be formed of a resilient transparent sheet material and include a visual element (e.g. print, picture or image) applied to its rear face by reverse printing or a reverse-printed adhesive sheet. Alternatively, a magnetic or magnetisable panel (e.g. steel panel) may be located adjacent the rear face to provide a magnetic surface for games such as chess, draughts or battleships. The panels may be made from high density polyethylene (HDPE). |
