A railway vehicle comprising a screen positioned along a side thereof, wherein the screen comprises filters 3 which allows air to pass there through. The screen may also comprise louvers 2 over the filters so as to direct air downwards. The screen may be deployable and retractable, and height adjustable via folding and/or telescopic sections. An inflatable tube 8 may be provided at the top of the screen to provide a seal between the screen and the underside of a tunnel or bridge. The screen provides a safe working environment for maintenance staff working on the railway. |
