<p>A portable radioactive substance monitoring device comprises an elongated cylindrical housing and a base. The housing has a longitudinal axis along a length direction thereof, and contains a hollow section within which are provided: a detector for monitoring radioactive substances; a circuitry connected to the detector for processing detection signals from the detector; and an alarm connected to the circuitry, for sending alarm signals upon detection of the radioactive substances. The housing at a lower end thereof is detachably connected to the base. The device is compact and delicate in structure, and thereby can be carried and used conveniently.</p> |
