[Also in Divisions B8 and E1 A turntable has an upper bearing with rollers 4 for taking up axial thrusts and a lower bearing with balls 6 for taking up radial thrust and preventing the rotary part of the turntable being lifted off the non-rotary part. Rings 1, 2 are keyed together by a mating shoulder and recess at 3. Faces 5 of the rollers 4 are partspherical. An inner race ring 8 is mounted on an annular part 7 which extends sufficiently far along the axis of the turntable to lie inside both of the bearings. |
