The system has components to be heated and a flowable medium flowing through the components. One of the components includes a resistance heating unit that consists of carbon nanotubes-containing coating and/or carbon nanotubes-containing casting compound. The component includes a tank (10) for storing the flowable medium, and the resistance heating unit is arranged in an inner chamber of the tank such that the resistance heating unit stays in direct or indirect contact with the flowable medium by an intermediate layer. The tank includes a rib-like part (12). The tank is made of heat insulating and thermally conductive materials.
