The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for providing information using voice data. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for providing information using voice data which is performed by the apparatus for providing information using voice data comprising at least one computer, server, and terminal comprises the following steps of: receiving, by the computer, broadcast data, and extracting voice data from the broadcast data; comparing, by the computer, the voice data with a predetermined advertisement sound source, and generating advertisement information; transmitting the advertisement information from the computer to the server; generating, by the server, an advertisement information list from the received advertisement information, and storing the list; receiving, by the terminal, a user input signal of advertisement confirmation from a user; transmitting, by the terminal, channel information, an ID, visual information to the server; searching for, by the server, an advertisement information list matched to the channel information and the visual information, and transmitting a terminal matched to the ID; receiving, by the terminal, an advertisement selection signal generated by user selection from the advertisement list, and transmitting the signal to the server; and transmitting, the server, advertisement data according to the advertisement selection signal to the terminal.
