PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content server in which a user can easily find and reproduce desired content and resume point among many contents and resume points using a general purpose content sever device even when a content can be reproduced by a plurality of reproducers via a network. SOLUTION: The content server 1 comprises a virtual content creation unit which creates a virtual content including identification information for identifying a content and interruption position information for every interruption position where reproduction is interrupted in a reproducer with respect to a storage content, a thumbnail creation unit which creates thumbnail information including the interruption position information and device information indicating a device that executed reproduction for every virtual content, and a thumbnail output unit which outputs the thumbnail information about a virtual content for the purpose of display when selection of a virtual content is requested based on a displayed content list including the list of virtual content.
