Cooking device with a cooking container which tilts around a tilting axis

The device has a cooking container comprising a cooking space for accommodating cooking goods, a base (11), a rear wall, a front wall (15) and side walls (13, 14). A cover (17) covers the cooking space in a pressure-tight manner. The container is tiltable around a tilting axis (20) for emptying the cooking space. An upper edge (30) of one of the walls is provided with a drain. The drain includes a groove tapered toward the edge, where the groove has an inclination to the front wall along direction of the base. Conducting elements are arranged at the edge on sides of the drain.
