An exhaust heat steam generator has a first heat-exchange pipe 11 which is connected to a pressure reducing valve 14 and a steam pressure buffering member 12, before a second heat-exchange pipe 13. The second heat-exchange pipe is connected to a nozzle 30 e.g. for driving a turbine. Water is supplied from a tank 20 by a pump 21, and heated in the first heat-exchanger 11. The water flashes to steam when the pressure is reduced in valve 14, and the steam is superheated in the second heat-exchanger 13. The entire arrangement may be located in an exhaust pipe 10 |
