<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily moldable copolyester resin for a molded container for storing a highly-concentrated alcohol-containing material, having excellent stress cracking resistance against the highly-concentrated alcohol-containing material, and also having transparency, impact resistance and heat resistance, and to provide the molded container. <P>SOLUTION: The copolyester resin for the molded container for storing the highly-concentrated alcohol-containing material, and composed of terephthalic acid as a main acid component, and ethylene glycol as a main diol component contains≥8 mol% but≤15 mol% 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol component based on the whole diol component, and satisfies the following requirements (I) and (II): (I): having≥0.81 dl/g but≤1.20 dl/g intrinsic viscosity; and (II): having≥0.5% critical distortion value in an aqueous solution having 60% ethanol concentration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
