PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mineral replenishing material which efficiently elutes various mineral components contained in steel slag in the soil such as agricultural land and continually exhibits its effect, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The mineral replenishing material is obtained by mixing a reaction product of a nitro-humic acid, obtained by treating a coal-based humic acid with nitric acid, and citric acid, and at least one slag selected from furnace slag and steel making slag containing 5-30 wt.% 2CaO-SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>so that the reaction product is contained in an amount of 1-30 wt.% in terms of solid content based on the whole mixture comprising the reaction product of the nitro-humic acid and citric acid, and the slag, and then granulating the resulting mixture.
