<p>1,041,754. Glazing strips. HOWARD CLAYTON-WRIGHT Ltd. April 10, 1964 [April 19, 1963], No. 14839/64. Heading E1R. A glazing strip, Fig. 1, is formed in two parts each as an extrusion of P.V.C. One part 12 having a U-transverse section 12 to provide an open mouth to receive the glass 10 and having a tongue 23 projecting on one side from the base of the U, the other strip part 13 of extruded P.V.C. U-section being interlockingly engageable on the tongue 23 by teeth 24 and together with an extension 19 on the other side of the first strip part forms a channel to receive the edge of the panel 11. The side 18, 19 of the first strip part exposed to view has an embellishment in the form of metal foil 14 or metallized plastic foil. In a modification, Fig. 2, the first part 32 has a tongue 36 extending parallel to one leg of the U and spaced therefrom, the second part being of U-section to clip over the tongue 36 and the edge of the panel 11.</p> |
