The amplifier (1) has an actuator part (4) comprising hydraulic cylinders (5-8) for generating actual movement (3). A control part (14) has a switching device (34) i.e. switching valve (15), and a controlling device (19), where the switching device supplies pressure to the actuators. The controlling device controls the switching device based on difference between reference movement (2) and actual movement. The switching device has switching thresholds, and the controlling device is mechanically or hydraulically coupled with the switching device for controlling the thresholds.
