PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a short lower-extremity orthosis capable of plantarflexing or dorsiflexing a lower-thigh part with excellent sideways stability and allowing a user to appropriately walk by freely adjusting the angle of dorsiflexion of the lower thigh part.SOLUTION: The lower-thigh part 3 is pivotally attached to an ankle region 4 of a foot sole part 1 in such a way as plantarly and dorsally flexible, and a stopper 6 of a required height is erected on a heel region 2 of the foot sole part 1 to stop the lower-thigh part 3 at a prescribed dorsiflexion angle. A slit 7 of a required width is notched from the upper end toward the lower end of the stopper 6 in such a way as can be reamed, and a reaming angle adjusting member 9 with elasticity is disposed in the slit 7 freely movably in the vertical direction. The short lower-extremity orthotic is configured to adjust the dorsiflexion angle of the lower-thigh part 3 by adjusting the flexibility in reaming of the slit 7 while appropriately moving the reaming angle adjusting member 9 in the vertical direction. |
