<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature distribution measuring instrument that reduces an influence of a linearity error of an A/D converter. <P>SOLUTION: The temperature distribution measuring instrument comprises: a light source for emitting an optical pulse to an optical fiber; a light-receiving part for receiving Raman scattering light from the optical fiber to convert it to an electrical signal; an offset voltage generating part for generating an offset voltage that is added to the electrical signal; an A/D converter for converting, into a digital signal, an analog signal corresponding to the electrical signal to which the offset voltage is added; an averaging circuit for averaging a plurality of digital signals converted by the A/D converter; and a calculation part for calculating a temperature distribution of the optical fiber based on the averaged signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
