<p>The method involves determining a state vector by application of voltage and current measurements to a predictive filter estimator incorporating a representation of a dynamic model of an electrodynamic loudspeaker, where a predictive filter is an extended Kalman filter (16). The filter is adapted to operate a prediction of the vector and readjust the prediction by calculation of an estimate of a voltage (Uestn) based on the state vector, current measurement and comparison of the estimate to the voltage measurement. A processing function of the vector is applied to an audio signal.</p> |
